Beauty and the Beast -Have You Seen It?

Today I went to see it. I saw the original animated Beauty and the Beast only once, when it came out but was very familiar with the songs. I was glad the most popular ones were in this movie. I think they did a marvelous job of staying close to the original. I had forgotten the details of the movie although I remembered the characters and the basic plot. It was like seeing a brand new movie. One of the things that bothered me was when they pan the camera around, it's blurry. That is uncomfortable for me to watch. I just don't understand why they can't keep it in focus. Fortunately it wasn't done too often, but once is too much for me. So have you seen it? Did you see the original animated version?

@Jeanniemaries The panning issue was annoying.

I would have to say I prefer the animated one also. I did love this one though, aside from the panning issue.

I haven't seen the new one released but I have seen the animated original and I don't care for Beauty and the Beast so I probably won't ever seen the real life version of it. Beauty and the Beast is one of the more boring Disney movies for me.

Yes, there was a point in the movie, I began to hope it would wind up soon. But I do love a happy ending.

@CaseyRoss9966 Alice is my favorite Disney character, but I didn't see any live action movies of hers. I love all the classics as that was my era when they were released and it was all so exciting. We LOVED them. The newer ones are the ones I don't watch.

@Jeanniemaries I love the live action Alice in Wonderland movies that were done. The actress they got to play Alice is amazing. I didn't really care for the live action versions of Snow White of Cinderella either. There just aren't that great of Disney movies for me. I don't really care for the classics Disney movies.

I seen both versions and they are very similar and that what I was hoping when I went to see the new one. Very well made but I also notice that the camera focus was a bit bad sometimes but I always feel that when I see movie in 3D

I didn't see it in 3D so the camera focus was bad in both while panning.

@GegeTheMechanic it's too bad because the don't have to use that technique.

I haven't seen this movie yet but I watched the animation before. I am not going to watch it from the cinema since this movie is more like girls' movie. My son may not be interested in it. I can watch it later online.

I'm glad that you enjoyed it, minus the panning of the camera. I have not gone to see it yet, but we're so busy with getting ready to move this Friday......
