Churches can help returning Veterans, as they give them an opportunity to serve and new goal and objectives. The church and church family are very important to developing a strong support community. Veterans just want to fit in society, and counselling is important as they never forget what happened to them. Many Pastors know how to steer Veterans in the right direction. Yes, Veterans do need help. It haunts me that the military doesn't provide more support. I guess it certainly won't improve under the Trump Administration. Like most of the serious problems in our society, we as citizens have to figure out solutions.
