Turning free stuff from work into wine!

I love getting free stuff from work - today I came home with a load of oranges and grapefruits that were slightly past their prime. Still good, just a little on the over juicy side. Also had a bag of sugar that had become a little damp due to a sudden downpour of rain as the delivery was coming in. . . I combined the freebe's, with a few spices and a little yeast and now I have a gallon of wine sat next to the coal fire ready to start fermenting. Not bad as the result will be 6 bottles of tasty wine for minimal outlay.

I log getting free stuff as well. I make use of things that most people might through away. Great job making something from what you got from work :-) You are benefiting from this as well as keeping these foods out of the landfill.
