Taco Bell and Relaxing

Today was a lazy day. We've done a little shopping and ate out at Taco Bell. We had no problem finding something my better half could eat. He had three tacos, with only black beans, lettuce, cheese and tomato. Most of it was on his free food list. I had my usual bean burrito and the chips with cheese sauce. We came home and I relaxed on the deck reading the paper and resting. I tried taking a nap but it didn't happen. My sister called and we caught up on all the family news.It was a very pleasant day. I hope yours was just as relaxing. Thanks for dropping by. Sleep well tonight.

Not too relaxing, we did some shopping for a new (used) freezer and found one we like, an upright, frost free one. Then I felt compelled to mow the swampy lawn since rain is expected tomorrow and Friday.

@RubyHawk Oh, that is on our list too. When we bought this place it had a front loading machine and we don't like it much at all. I looked at some reviews for new top load machines and was not impressed. Even Whirlpool did not get glowing reviews. May I ask what you bought?

@JamesHxstatic Our washer is Hot Point and a top loader. It's a water and energy saver which I thought was great, but it uses so little water and the wash cycle is short. When I take the clothes out, they are tangled and I have to untangle them to go in the dryer. It's an aggravation.

Today was a pretty easy going day here too. I made lunch and dinner as everyone was home today, and have been working on writing here, and a couple other places as well. Right now we are watching a movie and then probably going to head to bed in a little while and read, or get some more writing done. Hope you sleep well.

I would say my two favorites are the Burrito Supreme and the chicken quesadillas. But I have no food restrictions. Taco Bell is usually good eats, but I only ever have it on occasion.

I have diet restrictions, but my doctor allows me to have one bean burrito a week and there's a Taco Belle near my apartment. Not all bean burritos are made alike and some I don't even like, but Taco Belle's burritos are perfect.

@porwest Diet restrictions are difficult, but you get used to it. I had my bean burrito today while I was out. I didn't have one last week.

Wow, I'd love to try those burritos. We have Taco Bell here but I don't remember seeing that kind on the menu. Wish they'd offer more vegetarian options.

I'm not sure about the veggies. I know they have veggies on the Mexican pizza and tacos because my better half orders them. Their burritos are lovely. By the way we are both vegetarians.

Interesting about the food. The tacos weren't fried? So far when we are out and about and want a not too bad for us lunch that is quick, we go to Taco Time. There's a kid burrito there that is not fried and they put black beans on cause I do not like pinto beans. Its small and leaves me partly hungry so when I get home I grab fruit to get me through to supper.
