Crochet Club

My grandma finally got it in here brain that I will not invite myself over to her house.
It is just something that I cannot do it. I don't do it with my dad, anyone friends, I cannot just say, "Hey, stop what you are doing so I can come over!"
So on Tuesday she proposed the idea of we meet on Wednesdays to have a little crochet club!
My grandma and I do not have any common grounds on anything. I mean, she likes Harry Potter, but she just likes it, it isn't the excessiveness like me.
But one thing we actually do like is crocheting.
So now every Wednesday we are going to be crocheting together! It is going to be so awesome!
She is currently working on a pillow for my mom and I am working on a tiny skirt for my alpaca stuffie, Pistachio.
Gonna be so awesome!

My grandmother and I don't have much of anything in common these days. But I think that happens has they/we get older. Hope you have fun with your grandmother and your projects

That is great you will have some bonding time with your Grandmom. I wish I could crochet. No one ever showed me.

Your grandmother is a real keeper! She's come up with a perfect way for the two of you to spend some quality time together, doing what you both enjoy, and hopefully sharing a lot more than hooks and yarn! I'm so happy for both of you!

That's pretty cool. My grandma and I used to have a lot in common, and then I grew up and the older I got the less we had in common, but now that I am sewing again- we have something in common again. It's nice.
