Writing instead of going shopping...

I was about to leave the house to go shopping when I changed my mind and went on the Internet instead... It's not that I wanted to go shopping. I had to do it because I needed to look for presents for some people whose birthdays are coming up. But I didn't feel like going... This turned out to be a good idea because I ended up writing a new post for Niume, which was unexpected. I wanted to write one earlier but nothing had come to me at the time. While it's great that I wrote something new, I didn't get to look for those presents and tomorrow the weather should be bad so may not be able to go. This doesn't leave me much time to find something because I have until Thursday to get something... Fingers crossed. But at least a new post had been written!!!!!!!! Have you ever ended up writing something when you were about to leave the house...?

I suffer badly from writer's block, but when I do get ideas it's usually at the most inconvenient time like when I'm on my way or or when I'm trying to sleep. How's Niume working for you? I've pretty much given up on the site for now because I've been getting no views lately, just a lot of meaningless hype.

Well I've been there for months and have yet to reach the $10 minimum. I am in the seven dollar range right now in earnings. Four bucks of those are for referring 4 people and another buck is because I signed up from a referral link. So my earnings from views are super low. I don't know how others do it that they are able to reach the $10 much faster than me... Granted I don't have hundreds of posts. I am not even sure I have 25 yet. But I shouldn't need to have tons of them to be able to get to $10 in my opinion. I wonder what I am doing wrong.

@lovebuglena I don't think it's you. There's a whole discussion about Niume at ForumCoin and everybody is complaining, including a member who did very well a few months ago. I've earned a lot less than you have, but it seems that's because you have referrals and I don't. One thing's for sure, I can earn more by starting a discussion at myLot than by publishing something at Niume.

@Gina145 Really? But I guess that could be because here view amounts don't matter. There they do.

Sometimes that is the best time. When you return, there will be comments to answer!

It would be nice if that were the case.

@lovebuglena Homebody is a person who likes to just stay at home.

What's a "home body person"? I've never heard of such a term.

If I know I am going out of the house, I try to get things written ahead of time. I dont mean here, but for the blog I write for.

@lovebuglena Well, if I was writing for 'real money' it would be different. If a 'great idea' leaves my brain another will come along.

That's good but sometimes great ideas come at you when you are leaving the house. So, if you are not in a rush it's better to stay and write them down than to leave, if you don't want those ideas vanishing.
