Very difficult to maintain

I really wonder why it becomes very difficult to maintain a friendship after some age. we were good friends. Suddenly, he changed and now he is in Dubai. He offered me a job which I denied to take up. Is it good to work abroad at this age? What he says is one has to earn as long as one is alive. This is really terrible. But, for me this is not important. I enjoy what I have as the time is very less and there won't be any age to enjoy it further.

No adult should be coerced into doing what he does not like to do. Strange that this has taken a toll on your friendship.

I don't think there's an age limit to earn abroad. If ones want to go, then go. We can't decide for them.

In case this other person is your age,then the reason for your probably getting upset,is understandable.If not then the age difference is vital,means persons of different ages think differently,have different priorities. .
