And it's raining...

Well just as I was bragging yesterday how the weather is amazing here during the past few weeks, it started raining today. 
I love the rain and the smell of petrichor, but I was expecting to go for a walk with one of my closest friends. It is his birthday today and it will be hard to get him out in this rain even to meet at the close by cafe.
By the way hope me mentioning it's his birthday doesn't violate the rules, since it stated that milestones and birthdays shouldn't be shared.
Anyway, his original plan was to go for a walk in the park, but now that plan is ruined and so he prefers to spend the entire day playing League of Legends(a computer game) with me.
I need to get him out somehow so that I can give his and his brother's presents to him. His brother's birthday is also today, but they are not twins. 
So any suggestions how I can accomplish that? I'm struggling a bit here.

@Nawsheen Haha... No worries! I've not been all that active in here lately, trying to focus on a lot of things, so I tend to reply late now too. I did manage to take him out! The weather was nice once the gang gathered.

I made a chocolate "salad" for him. He was joking the previous day how the only salad he'd really enjoy would be a chocolate one, so I bought a bunch of different chocolate sweets. The cashier asked if I have a cheat day today and when I explained that it's for someone else she said I broke her heart. Felt like I should have treated her a chocolate bar or something, but unfortunately I was short on cash. I have another gift for him and all my friends, but I'm waiting for the materials to arrive. *-*

Thank you for the information! Was a bit scared I might be violating the rules by mentioning it. I also thought the reason behind that rule is so that you don't get easy spam messages with "happy birthday", so I took my chances with this one

I managed to convince him to at least hang out at the close by cafe. 
I enjoy the rain, but not the best weather to take a long walk in the park, especially if you're planning on siting on a bench to enjoy the nice weather. Oh, this reminded me that my umbrella is broken have to try and fix it before going out.

True... Lately whenever I look at the weather app it's wrong. For example it showed thunder storms two days ago and in actuality it was sunny with no dark clouds whatsoever.

Hope the rain may not continuous there. When rain stops little bit get u r umbrella and go outside for a coffee. It's really best to have coffee in that weather. Try to do this anyhow and by the way if you want to enjoy then just go freely don't worry about anything. Convince somehow and enjoy weather.

Thank you! I can be very persuasive, especially with my closest friends, so I believe I'll be able to get him out of home, even though he's pretty stubborn. I am craving coffee so bad right now, especially after you mentioned it. haha
