Cherokee Rose at the Park

We've had a beautiful day. Our gas tank was almost empty so we went for a fill up at the nearest gas station. We paid 2.29 per gallon and driving on up the road the next gas station was .10 lower per gallon. I was a bit taken aback but that was that.We went to the park and I did my walk while my better half found a bench in the shade and read his Time magazine. I walked the full two miles so I'm very satisfied. I'm getting back to my old routine. It was warm but not too hot to enjoy my walk.
Wild flowers were blooming and trees were covered with fresh green leaves. I probably shouldn't have but I broke off a sprig of Cherokee rose to bring home and plant in a pot on the deck. It might grow. I used to plant sprigs of roses and other plants in my yard and they took root and grew. We'll see.
Now it's time to cook the last meal of the day. I'll have to look at my better half's diet plan to see exactly what to fix. It's pretty flexible as I can chose most anything, it's the portion sizes that count. I'll make my comments later from my ipad. It will not submit my articles so I'm doing this first on the computer.

@Lupita234 I believe you're right. I suppose more people are out driving in the good weather.

Good job on your walk!
Cherokee roses are absolutely beautiful! Probably one of my favorite flowers, I have never seen one in person though.

@RubyHawk They are very pretty! I would love to actually see one in person haha but I would probably have to travel to the east for that

I noticed that difference in gas price yesterday. Only ours was 10 cents a litre different by driving a couple of miles...that's about 37 cents a gallon difference.

@Morleyhunt (12997)I would drive a couple of miles for the difference. Our Chevron is usually the highest price. We never stop there.
