Revamping my Zazzle store

I'm in the process of revamping my Zazzle store, getting rid of products that never get any views or sales, or trying to edit them to get better search results. My goal was to get it done by Easter, but I got sidetracked, and it'll never be done by then. I also had a couple new designs to post, as well as some that I wanted to finish, and that didn't get done either. I must have a real short attention span or something; I jump from one thing to the next and don't finish anything!

I wouldn't delete any products unless there is something wrong with the layout or positioning. I have many things that don't really get views. and now that Zazzle is hiding products all the time. I just go in and unhide (make them Public) them again and I have been getting more and more sales with those products that have never sold before. The marketplace was inundated with tons of crap before and so many people who didn't even keep up with their stores that they started. The hiding of the products and our ability to unhide them I think has been very helpful. it has now weeded out those that are not keeping active with their stores. so more people are viewing the stuff that i had that used to be buried pages and pages deep in the trash. So I would just go in and unhide anything you have hidden . check the tags. because they just got rid of the 40 tags and are now only using 10 and that's it, and see what happens before you delete stuff .

Thank you. I don't actually delete the products unless there is a definite flaw in the design, but I make them hidden when they haven't gotten any views and are near the 15 month mark. I've revamped a few and reposted them. Sometimes I do change the design and repost as a new design, then delete the originals. But I like to keep the non-performers hidden when they get to the 15 month cutoff, otherwise the ratio of sales to public products will bring my Zrank down. It all depends on the designs; if the design is popular on many other products, I'll keep it even on the slow products, but if the entire design hasn't been selling, then I'll look into changing it or getting rid of it. And of course there are few that just weren't appropriate for the products I put them on (one of those "what-was-I-thinking" kind of things.)

@minx267 I hope I start selling more of my older stuff. Actually, for a long time, my first design was my bestseller, but it has sort of fallen behind now to other newer things.

I haven't worked in zazzle for ages. I did sell some stickers once but that's it. There are so many things there now compared to when I first started....and it's time consuming too. I ended up spending what I had made over time to order myself address labels and then one of each of the postcards I designed.

I think we are all guilty of jumping from one thing to another without enough time to focus on things.
