Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson announced his intention to execute eight death row inmates in ten days later this month

I believe that the death penalty is unAmerican, It seems to me that when the Declaration of Independence was written the authors thought so as well. They wrote that all men are created equally and that we are guaranteed the right to life! No office of American government should have the right to willfully execute any man. Killing is unlawful and by sentencing a person to death you become the killer, committing, in essence, the same crime you are punishing for. Long live Hypocrisy, who needs democracy anyway?

Declaration of independace was just a letter letting the king know we were leaving the empire, its not a document of law. I have no sympathy for murderers, kill them . Why should i value their lives when they didnt value someone elses by murdering them. Ill even pull the switch, trigger or whatever.

Well, I disagree. Perhaps it isn't necessarily an article of law however, it expresses legally binding rights. When someone or something grants you unalienable rights they are morally and ethically obligated to uphold those rights.
