~She Doesn't Know I'm Hurt~

I tried to call my grandma the other day who lives with my Aunt C in New York. I talk to my grandma at least once a week-sometimes more. I love her like a mother, we are so close...
My Aunt C said I'm sorry but your grandma isn't going to be here for a month. 
She went down to NC to visit my Aunt K-who I don't get along with at all.
So, I have no way to get in touch with my grandma since she can't hear well on cell phones and that's all Aunt K has. =( The part that bothers me about it all is I just talked with my grandma a couple days before she left and she never mentioned a word to me about it. 
I just keep telling myself it must have been a last minute thing for her not to tell me. But I'm hurt that I won't be able to talk with her at all for a month! And her birthday is the 16th and I can't even wish her a happy birthday. 
She's going to be 81 and I just pray she will be okay & healthy while she's there. Gosh this month needs to go by fast for more than one reason now! I miss talking with her already.
Who do you miss talking to?

Can you post a card to her at your aunt's place? I'm hoping she just forgot to tell you. Sometimes when something is talked about a lot, as it might have been at your Aunt C's place, you assume everyone knows about whatever it is. But you're right, it might be a long month.

@LovingMyBabies I miss talking to my girlfriend like all the time. She got a scholarship oversees and we are no longer close as we used to be.

I'm sorry you feel hurt that your grandma is away and you won't be able to talk to her especially for her birthday. I'm sure your grandma loves you and wouldn't want you to be hurt

I am sorry to hear that she went away without letting your know she was going. She may just have been preoccupied and forgot to mention it. I miss talking to my mom and dad. What I wouldn't give for one more conversation.

@happy2beme Yeah maybe. I hope that's all it was. I'm sorry that you don't have your parents. =( I'm not close to mine but I know if something were to happen to them I would be heart broken.

I have to agree with Uncle Joe, she may just have forgotten to mention it. The month will go by quickly and let's think positively that your aunt will just give the mail to her mother. How about not putting a return address on it so she doesn't know it is from you? Would she really want to do that to her mother, not give her your card?

@BelleStarr Yeah I hope that's all it was. I just have a feeling she didn't want to upset me so she didn't tell me. She's like that. But I am more upset by not knowing.
I hope my aunt will give her the card I send but I just never know with her. She's not a good person at all. I might not put a return address on it.

@Abbygreenhill No I know she didn't try to hurt me but I think she might have not mentioned it because I would be upset. But I am actually more upset not knowing to be honest.

@DianneN Yeah I hope that's all it is. It's just a long time not to talk with her when we usually talk often. =( And I especially hate that I can't talk to her on her birthday.

Ya you should send her a card. Don't be upset she will come soon . You know if I don't talk to my mom daily I feel lonely. But these days she is in Texas so hardly I could call her( 2-3 days gap) as the timing doesn't match and she will stay there till may. Hmmmm miss her like anything

Sorry to hear this. Maybe send her a card and she will have it waiting for her when she gets home I would not trust the other aunt she may throw it out.
