How stupid he is . This person is losing friends as he has a habit of borrowing money from others and never return back. I was also a victim as I lend him some money which I never asked him to give back. I came to know from others that this person doesn't return money back still I didn't care and lend him some money because I always preferred friendship over money. I always feel bad for this person as everyone who knows his nature try to avoid him. This is serious I think he need to change himself else he will lose all. Hope he understands it will soon What about you?. Do you prefer money over friendship?"

As much as possible, I don't lend money to my friends. I have a friend who always borrow and the people started to stay away from him.

@HAPPSINGH Thank you, my friend. I think it is all based on my personal experience.

@sjvg1976 I had experienced this a couple of times. The worst scenario, they became abusive.

I think a true friend should return the money. It is not you don't care about the friendship, it is the one who never returns the money spoil the friendship. There is a colleague in our office. She is not often in the office. But now and then she will receive some delivery and some of them need to pay for it. Since she is not there at that time, so I am usually the one who pay for her. The problem is she hasn't returned the money to me yet. And I feel embarrassed to remind her

That's really sad as sometimes we are in such a situation that we could not speak to our acquaintances to return back our blended money.

I had been victims of persons like that. Usually they are my close friends. But the one that I could not forget is my cousin. She borrowed money from me and for me it was already a big amount considering my situation. I made a cash advance through my credit card. Several years had already passed and she has not yet paid me even a single centavo. I just considered the time that we applied for that cash advance a bad dream. I value our relationship as well as our friendship so that I just think that maybe in the future she can pay me..

My uncle is like that. He has trouble paying his very few bills, yet tells people he will pay them back and he never does and then people get mad. To me, if you are dumb enough to let someone you know cant pay you back money, borrow money.. them Not payng it back is on you not them.
