After 6 months of night shift duties twice or thrice every week, our brain develops the habit of sleeping anytime you want or waking up as you wish. There will be no time of sleeping. Initially your weight will decrease. After that it becomes a habit and we all shift workers enjoy the same.

Not sure about that. Vitamins may help the graveyard shift people. Specially the work is stressful

But you get a lot of time at home, more than the general duty peoples, no need to take leave for other official works on weekdays.

I think some people usually get sick working in a night shift.

Not really. For the first timers it may happen, after that your body and brain will co-operate each other to make it a general habit.

@Shavkat Sorry to hear that. But continuous night shifts really effects, Its not a big deal for mixed shifts every week.

Yes,I agree with you. First two- three months it becomes difficult for us to get adapted to night shift duties. But later on we get used to night shifts and face no difficulties. We don't fall sleepy later.First two days we feel sleepy. Then it becomes a habit, not to feel sleepy no matter how late it is.
