Dead bat in the salad

I just read an article that mentioned there is a salad recall in the U.S because someone found a dead bat in their bag of salad mix... This is really disturbing and gross and I wonder how the bat got in there without someone noticing. Do the employees of the salad packaging plant really not notice? Do you think they intentionally leave it there as a means of sabotage or rebellion against their employer? It seems there are more and more recalls every single day...

In some Asian cuisine, bats are considered a delicacy. What McDonald and other fast food corporation put in their food is much more gross and unhealthy.

@josie_ NO, I have tried nothing from McDonald. The last time I bought something from a McDonald was in 1998 before moving to Switzerland.

A bat is too big to get unnoticed in a salad bag. It can either be an accident or a sabotage. Have you received any updates about it

@tzwrites there were some people who were secretly killing bats and eating them in my country. But now the government has put forward new laws

No idea what happened but there was some sort of a recall and someone sued the manufacturer.

That's terrible. I think they need to check this incident. I felt bad for the company. They will be punished on this.

An autopsy is needed, that would tell a lot.

that is weird. here, a live earthworm also 'adorned' a can of corned beef, but many believed it was photo-shopped because how can an earthworm live in a closed tin? the one who posted the picture on FB demanded a large amount of money from the manufacturer, and i don't know if the company paid her or dismissed it as a scam.

@tzwrites yes that was what we thought too. but in another news, there were 2 middle-aged women who 'found an earthworm' inside a local brand of corned beef. when the company did not acknowledge that news, the 2 women tried to extort money, so a set-up was done by the police operatives, until the 2 women were captured.

I can't believe the worm would live in a can of beef...maybe it was a scam

How can they miss a bat in the salad? They must be super oblivious or in bad need of an eye exam.

It does seem likely that it would be deliberate, as surely the emplyees could not fail to notice it.

I imagine it was passed over as the salad mix was made, I would hope it was not put in on purpose by an employee of the business.

I feel its done on purpose, because its not something that could go unnoticed and that also if its found on salad. Just to harm the reputation of the hotel or the owner they are doing this. How pity I feel for the person who has ordered this. He would surely have trouble in eating for the next few days.
