Getting technical on my computer...

I was going to call it converting computer files for dummies...
but then thought I might run foul of copyright, as there is a company who has a series of books using the quote 'for dummies' in their titles.... hopefully you will find this useful ... for when you need to change file formats when using your computer or android device.... it really is that easy to use... 
A friend of mine sent me a link to a file converting site. It is soooo easy to use and it changes txt files, audio files, image files, and pdf files, and some other files, that I do not even know what they are.... I’m not very clever with the computer, I have quite a basic user knowledge, but this is going on my favourites list. I sometimes receive a file in a strange format, well... strange for me... and I have an ebook reader on my tablet and occasionally have to change from one format to the other...
This morning I loaded some ebooks onto my tablet and had to change the format, it was easy and done in 10 minutes ... and I’m going to change the format of some of my music files now too... then I’m all set for going to the UK at the end of the week. here is a link ....

I'm pretty green when it comes to file conversions and whatnot also. I did have another member advise me of a site to try (which I have done successfully) to scale down my photos so that they can easily be uploaded to our site here. And speaking of photos, I love yours, they are pretty flowers here!

Convert files? Some days just accessing a file is enough of a challenge. This morning I'm just plain having trouble with technology....I think I'll go and do my dishes.

Would you like the name of the software I use to do the same things? I prefer to have the software under my control rather than through someone else. I can monitor what it does with my files that way. I can also keep software from sending my files to someone else so they can have a copy of what I am working with/on.
Sorry, but that link is as bad as storing your files on a cloud somewhere. Anyone could make copies of your information.
