Manila has thought me something

Spending time in solitude is a great way for me to understand what inner peace is all about and a great way to filter out the bad things in me . It's a realisation of how small we are in front of this mother nature . It's a realisation that we could do nothing when mother nature throws a small challenge on us like a small earthquake even. This photograph was clicked from manilla, the Philippines. A beautiful evening with the golden rays of final sunlight, clouds and mountains . If you closely observe you can see a boeing 777 aircraft approaching manila international airport, another example to myself how does a really big bird looks in front of mother nature . The day this photograph was clicked there was an earthquake of magnitude 5.9, i have seen the panic and choas in everyone's eyes and I spend this evening thinking about all of it, how helpless we are in front of mother nature .

That was a powerful earthquake I can understand the panic. There is nothing we can do in front of the destructive forces of mother nature.

@suhail1 I have never assisted at very strong earthquakes, but we had two pretty strong earthquakes when I lived in the south of France. I remember that every time I was surprised by the loud noise that followed the first shake.
