~Busy Morning Had a Yard Sale~

Hey everyone. This morning was busy for us here because we had a yard sale. We picked a bad weekend to do this since it's Easter weekend-we weren't thinking about that. We didn't do terrible but we didn't do great either. Oh well, another week we will try again.
My husband is at work now, repairing a roof. The babies are napping and I am going to be here for a bit. =)

Glad to hear that you were able to sell some things. I am sure another weekend would be better. It is nice that you have some time to yourself to mylotting a bit.

Could be better if I could just sit here and earn over the stress of really needing to be up and cleaning the house to prepare for the holiday and everyone being here tomorrow. I do love the family time, just not the stress of preparing for it.

Sorry to hear it didn't go over that good. Memorial day weekend 4th of july labor day are all good times at least around here anyways. Enjoy your mylotting time while the babies are sleeping.

@LovingMyBabies I never had one myself my mom use to always have them in the summer right after school got out. The subdivision had a big one it was awesome I enjoyed it.

That is too bad, it is a lot of work setting up for a garage slae, try it again in a few weeks, I hope you do much better.

We want to have a couple of yard sales this spring/summer season. We have a lot of "treasures" that we can part with. Someone was recently telling us that they were at a yard sale and the people hosting it had a "free" table and that went over really well to get rid of some of the small useless things that we put out in the sales and often don't sell. We might try that.

I rested today,
the first weekend of each month is always best for yard sales. I used to have them all the time and I tried every weekend of a month and I always made more money on that first one.
