Pocket Money to Children's.Should Parents encourage this?

Giving money to children is good if we taught Saving habit.Some Children addicted to bad habits because of pocket money.Instead we can buy valuable gifts right?

I think it is good for children to do some chores around the house and then get a little money for it. It helps teach them the value of money and shows that doing work is good. Plus then they have some money to buy things and they learn to save too.

If it is limited then i dont think pocket money is a bad thing. It is important to let the child know the value of money and difference between what is right and wrong. As long as that is in place...i think having pocket money can be a good thing.

I think that growing up with pocket money given every day, it became really useful when I needed to buy things that I actually need, like food. And the amount of pocket money left at the end of the day made me learn to save up to buy things that I want. As long as the pocket money is just enough for the kids to spend on their necessities and save up a little by the end of the day, I think that it really can be a positive thing. Of course, as children grow up they need to lose more of their dependency of pocket money.
