Any Scribd users out there?

I have Scribd on my phone and tablet so that I can read if I get stuck waiting on someone. Im reading my second book from the four I got with my current credits. It says that I get more credits on the 27th of this month. I was just wondering what exactly that meant. Can I only download a certain amount of books each month? Someone please explain lol, so I don't feel s lost. I may just be missing something really obvious.
