I heard somewhere that "Books are your best Friends". Being socially Shy and introvert, I seek help and friendship from books. Currently reading "The Kite Runner". The book that made me define the importance of friend and how remorse can lead to destruction. What is the importance to act on the moment and to love the people near to you. Just a little courage can take you a long way.

Books are great friends and I too enjoy their company as I was too shy and an introvert before. But now I have changed and thanks to my bestie who changed me completely. :-)

Aside from the fact that a book could be a bestfriend to anybody, it also helps you weave your dreams and open your mind to wonder and wander. That's the beauty of reading.

Not to forget that reading can generate emotions that sometimes people can't generate.

Isn't the story based in Afghanistan? I thought this was made into a film, too, right?

Sounds like a pretty interesting book. I might pick it up for a read when I have spare time.

@definitelynotaziz Being from India where people are die hard Romantics, every bookstore generally have either Ravinder singh's love story or Half Girlfriend by Chetan Bhagat. The only love story I really like was "Me Before You".
