Why white cars (4wheelers) are preferred than black cars???

I've a black car and Me and my brother loved the black so we bought it
But I don't know why white is preferred over black cars?
In our Church, I think only our car is black and rest all are white..
My dad says that white doesn't look so dirty easily as black one gets(That's very true) and secondly he says that on road black cars aren't visible from far that clearly as white ones so there are chances of accidents more..
What do you think????

We have the best of both worlds - a black & white car.
White car the bird poop stains easier so you have to clean it immediately. White gets dirty but you don't see it that much! You don't see scratches. Looks clean against tinted windows
Black car you see all visible scratches, dust, if it's hit the car gets hit easier but I like the way it looks

@HAPPSINGH It's the same for our clothes, dark clothes are used in winter to keep warm and white and pale colors in summer to stay cooler.

May be they are right, I don't know much about that. My mother says black is unlucky and white is lucky.

We've had both black and white cars and SUVs. As long as they are pretty, I don't care. Lol! Silver is very good. Black shows dust and white is very pretty and shows dirt more, but both need lots of washings. I had a special duster for my black car which worked. You look so cute!!!!!!

Yes the main reason of white cars is because they are easily visible in the dark and black get camouflage
. You better give that car to me it's unsafe for you see your driving in the night, I will give you my white car.... when I buy it

Both my brothers also prefers other colors than white. Black could be one. Black is nice actually. However, it still depends on how you take care of it if we are going to talk about cleanliness. When it comes to the road, there is actually no visible car be that black or white if the driver is reckless.

I thought logically white cars get dirty easier than black cars, since you could probably see a small dirt mark on a white car whereas on a black car it might not really contrast with the color of the car.
Also maybe black cars can get generally hotter than white cars? Since black absorbs the sunlight more. Then again I don't really know what I'm talking about

I've always had silver or light gold cars .. I think young people like you prefer black or dark colours .. My son has black car ..

My uncle gave his old car to my mother and it's black. My best-friend has a white car. I always thought that dirt can be on white.

that is a beautiful you inside the black car; your beauty is exposed.
black cars are elegant; white cars are 'pure'. hahaha! if i buy a car of my own, i would prefer a black color, or white, or blue... any color actually would do.
