Change in Plans for Today

Today, in an hour, I will be taking my car to get fixed. I don't know how long it will take, but hopefully not long and this time it will be fixed. I do trust this shop. They have done good work before on the car. And they stand behind their work with guarantees and warranties on most of the parts they have already put on that car.
However, my chiropractor's office called yesterday, and that appointment was canceled for this afternoon, so it looks like you will have me for a good portion of my day. Now aren't you the lucky ones?
Since I need to leave soon, I think now would be a good time to get ready to go. I'm still in my bathrobe. Time to get dressed.
Today is also my youngest son's birthday. He was born on a very important historical day - the anniversary of Paul Revere's midnight ride to warn about the British invasion and the beginning of the Revolutionary War for independence.

How nice it will be to see more of you. Are you having a birthday gathering for your son's birthday? I will be on here for a while, going to be visiting the store to pick up a few things, and writing. It's a beautiful day right now.

Yes, I'm here a lot more now that the book is finished. No, he doesn't want a party of any kind. He'll probably be going out tonight. It's a double birthday for him, his girlfriend's birthday is also today. So I'm sure they have some kind of plans.
It is an excellent day for writing. I just might open a manuscript and work on it. I can't believe I haven't touched one in over 24 hours. My fingers are getting itchy.
I hope you get a fair amount of writing done, and it flows well for you.

@HazySue I called him last night to wish him a happy birthday and they didn't have any plans, which was surprising. Must be getting to that age when going out isn't exciting anymore. Though my daughter still makes the most of her birthday and she's older.

First of all happy birthday to him.I wish all your days to be happy.

I have a good start up today. I got up early in the morning and went for a walk.
I am feeling fresh and Healthy.

Sounds like a good day--productive without too much on your plate. And when you get home, hopefully with healthy car, or knowledge that it WILL be healthy, you'll be able to respond to comments on this post and then "go to town" on MyLot.
