Washington Monument

A while ago, I was in Washington DC and I took this picture of the Washington Monument. I thought it was a pretty cool picture. Has anyone else been there before or been at a different landmark?

I went there once, but didn't have the chance to get up close though. Certainly a magnificent structure and I would love to go back there again.

I don't see the pic.. But I have been to the Washington Monument and even been up inside it. I have been to DC a couple of times and seen most of the monuments there. My Uncle and his work team actually clean the outside of those buildings the Monument and the White House too. He has been working on them yearly since the 1970's

@pigeboy yea, I wouldn't want a job where i have to stand on scaffolding .. I do like the view through.

It looks like the picture didn't upload correctly. I'll check on that and get it uploaded after work today. That's pretty cool about your uncle! I think it would be scary to clean up that high but also a great view.
