My Guardian Angel sent a distraction today

Went to the vet with my cat. Really thought we had this under control but she has a lump in her intestine. She got an antibiotic shot and one of her other shots (I can't even remember which one anymore). Vet said she needs an ultrasound to determine what's going on. I have to figure all of that out, financially and otherwise. Meanwhile, just before I left the vet's office, a very dear friend that I haven't seen since my husband's funeral happened to walk in! Her daughter recently had a baby, so we were hugging and talking about happier things. We're hoping to get together soon. She runs the photo lab at a local CVS and only gets one day off during the week, so we're going to try to do lunch. When I worked at the church all those years ago, she was one of the volunteers who came in to teach the kids. I really miss those days. So many great people and we'd all been so close. So, on a rough day, it was so nice to have her face suddenly before me! My Guardian Angel seems to be working overtime lately. Claudia
