I am sure that you will be delighted to have a rattan bag. It is one of the local products in the Summer Capital of the Philippines. The size and shape vary from one design to another. It is native rattan bag that resembles a backpack. Most tourists from different places love to have one. If ever you visited my city, it is worth to have a rattan bag while on travel in the Philippines. I have this in the house if ever I will have short distance travel. Image Credit: Shavkat

one friend requested me a bag similar to this. i had to ask a former student, now a colleague, to buy one, and my friend can just pick it up in Manila. my friend said it was good. i had to pay my former student with PhP500 through LBC. latest i heard from this 'former friend of mine', the bag is already worn out.

@ridingbet if the rattan backpack was 480 before and you paid 500 via courier (LBC), that would be almost 1000 pesos (20 dollars).

@Shavkat The weather is very fine because it's summer. It was only last Sunday April 16 when it becomes windy and it rained the whole day because of typhoon Crising.

I don't think I will get one. It is very unlikely that I will bring it to work or bring it along with me with I go out. If that is just for decorative purpose, I do not see the need to buy one just to display it in the living room.
