~How Will They Handle Coming Back To Reality?~

My Babies

It's really just a thought that comes to mind now and then when I think about my older kids coming home. They literally have gotten to do something pretty cool every day. They went bowling, skating, took lego classes, go out to eat there all the time, went to a cool fire & ice show, went to a museum, and go to the park almost every day too. I know they will be happy to see us again, and of course I will be THRILLED to have my babies back home. I just think about this hoping they will adjust back to their reality easily. They adapt to most situations well so I hope this will be the same. Do you think they will adjust to their reality as easy after this trip? The picture is my older 3 kids with their cousins

They will be happy to be home because there is no place like home and they will be glad to see mom and parent and their little brothers. It may take a little adjusting because they have been so busy and doing so much but it won't take them long to settle back to their normal routine.

They all look pretty happy, but they love you, your husband and the little boys, so I cannot help but to imagine that being with those that they love so much will over-ride any outings or anything else that they've enjoyed. And they knew that this was just temporary, so I'm sure that they'll settle in nicely-especially when they see how you've redone their rooms.

@Juliaacv Yes they are happy. =) That is what's important to me-even though I miss them like crazy. At least I know their safe and happy. Yeah, I hope they will be happy with their rooms and happy to be back with their family.

of course they will adapt back to reality just fine. Relax and be happy they are being spoiled the way they are. They deserve it. They know what normal life is all about.

@NJChicaa Yeah I hope your right! I am glad their being spoiled since we can't. I just don't want them being disappointed about coming home.

@NJChicaa I am. I wouldn't say anything to them about it but I thought I would ask here since it was bothering me.

I am sure they will be happy to be home, as I am sure you will be happy to have them home. They might miss doing some things that they had the chance to do, but it is nice to come home as well.

My kids spend every summer down in West Palm Beach with their grandparents (my parents and my ex-wife's parents, who both live really close to each other). They get spoiled rotten every summer when they are there, and I always think about the same thing when they come back home at the end of the summer! But like your kids, my kids also adapt well and settle back into their normal routine pretty quickly!
