Do we mean when we "like" on Facebook?

Peoples reactions on Facebook confuse me rather than getting straight idea. When people like something they probably don't mean that. They like pictures that are not likeable. Many use phrases "cute, wow", oh awesome" on any type of posts without even looking. Out of number of likes, hearts, I can not extract an idea who is looking good, who is not. Reactions depends on who is talking-if a pretty young girl writes just two words like " Good morning", thousands of people start pouring on "likes" and when ugly men like us, write deep scientific facts, even good jokes, people just overlook it.

It is hard to choose "like" on some Facebook posts. Now we have other choices.

@Lailaa When someone posts something on facebook and I do like I mean that I like it and like what they posted.

people press like just to garner more favor from the other party. Which means, if I like your post, I expect you to like me back; that is the example. Some people genuinely like it but not majority, that is how the Facebook live on, like for the purpose of gaining traffic
