This is what I looked at as I drove through the little touristy town of Leavenworth this morning.
Very pretty and a tad scary cause I did not want to have to deal with that snow! The brakes braked the car fine- no more little grabs to the side as I insisted we drive down the very steep winding curves slower than the car wanted to. The snow was there- but properly on the side of the road and dirty cause it was melty and the temps lovely warm.
So I could enjoy the lovely jagged snow covered mountain peaks. And I could drive peacefully, knowing the brakes were in good shape. I just had to use good judgement- others nearby liked to fly by, leaving me stolidly coping with the curves. Fine. I liked the feeling of safety and kept the car and me and little Sally in one piece.

the snow covered mountains make a lovely scene. Washington is a beautiful state.

@JohnRoberts West side is so lush and wow!! compared to where I've been all winter. I am trying not to point and gawk every time I see a purple flowering shrub etc.
