I see it all the time. When I am on Facebook... and see a shared picture with captions. It resembles mostly a poster of sorts. Back in the 60s and 70s there were bill boards all over the city. My first real job was a layout artist for a silk screen process printers just outside Dallas. It was a family owned and operated business. The thing they did best were grocery store ads but they did lots of bill board prints that would be seen by tens of thousands who took to the freeways of Dallas and Ft. Worth, TX. Then there were other types of posters I would buy at Pier 1 Imports, done in BLACKLIGHT paint. The times were good in the 60s and 70s for poster art and bill board art as well. Today, it is coming back but not on billboards, but instead on the sides of vans and buses. They use silk screen printing to advertise all over the city of Dallas. I think that using a photo that has captions you can read that are part of the picture, make for great social media sharing.

That is good if they really want to work for Hallmark. They do wonderful greeting cards with meaningful sentiments.

I use text on photos to tag it as my own. Especially in this day and age, where,people steal words, and pictures to plagiarize online. I make sure to tag what's mine.
