Be it the batman trilogy or the kite runner ,the trend of making movies from bestselling books has given the general public a sense of fulfilling experience on watching them.Which are your favourite book-turned-movies?
And on which special books you would love to see a movie adaptation?

what about the BBC adaptation of pride and prejudice?
That's the one main example where the adaptation is as good as the book.
I watch it at least once per year
Maybe you meant no current books you'd like to see adapted for film?...if you like jane austen you should see the BBC mini series.

@MALUSE also the Poldark books have been relatively recently adapted for the screen.
Some issues there but on the whole the first 2 series were very good and the cinematography is amazing

I would say the best are To Kill a Mockingbird, The Godfather and Gone With The Wind.

The Maze Runner series came out far much better in the movies than the book.
I think my fave would be all Marvel Universe comics that turn into movies..

@smruti99 they are, indeed.. i think there are few things that movie industries need to do to re touch up original stories for the shake of wider audiences..
still, Marvel done far much better than DC comics.. Oopsss, sorry...

But most of the movie adaptations from marvels is bit different from the original comic, which i think is a bit sad.
