How do you feel when you have to bid farewell?

It's first Sunday after Easter. I should be joyful but I woke up with a heavy heart. Today, we have to give a farewell to our pastor. He served our community for six years. He is very faithful to his work. He is well loved by the people. Now, he has got a transfer. His next assignment is in a mission centre in a tribal region.
I have to conduct a farewell program after the service today.
Isn't it natural to feel sad when we say bye to somebody we love?

Yes when we are close to others, it is always human sadness that we feel to say goodbye.
Your pastor is a worthy man and he will be missed by the sound of it friend.
