So what if i am a housewife!!!

My husband used to ask me what I did all day years ago. Then he got hurt on the job-and he was the one who had to stay home with the kids. Oh my goodness! He was shocked and said he HAD to get back to work soon because his job is easier than being home. He now knows what I do all day and he appreciates what I do more now a days. =)

I think you've already made the first step in the right direction.

You can start to do some D.I.Y stuffs and sell them on sites likes etsy. You can also start blogging and this will also help you get some money.

Welcome to the site. There are many such things which one may do while sitting at home. You also may start anything online.

I think being a housewife is the most difficult job.

I used to quite enjoy being a housewife at times in my life. There is nothing wrong with it, no matter what others will say. It is your life, and your choice and you contribute much to it.

I loved being a housewife. It was so creative and took a lot of time to do well.

I think we housewives need motivations and we can do everything.

There is nothing low at being a housewife. I never been one but I know that staying in the house and managing it, is a hard work. You have to maintain everything. Check the things that your family needs every week. Make sure to pay the bills on time. If you have kids you got to make sure of their things, check their school work, teach them etc etc.., making rounds with all sort of errands. All I can say is make time for yourself too and pursue what you love to do or what you know you can. Good Luck!

When next time your husband told that,you response him that I am in the home and a I have worldwide connectivity. That is your potential(house wives) which society need to appreciate. There is a long list but its a good milestone

Here is just an idea if you should want to make your S/O notice what you do.... simply do not do anything for a day. He wakes up, do not make coffee or breakfast. He leaves, do not clean the house. Do not do the laundry. Do not make the bed. Let the kids run around and do not pick up their messes. Do not make dinner. Just one day. He will come home, and ask WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON HERE? or WHAT did you do all day?...answer him. Today I did not do anything I usually do. Ask him to help you catch up. I did this ONE DAY with my husband....after that his appreciation for all the things I did without being asked or noticed for was AMAZING.

Being a housewife is the greatest profession that a woman has. Even man is hard up in doing chores that only a housewife can do. Cheer up @Kuma6i, you are such a great woman.

@Kuma6i Welcome to myLot! I'm sure you'd do great at whatever you choose & all the best. But, I understand the pain you feel. Being a housewife involves a lot of heavy, unappreciated work !
