Steel cut oats vs regular oats?.

My friend gave me a whole pile of steel cut oats the individual package. So since Iam at work all morning I made one with strawberries. It's not bad but different texture. But overall not bad.

I didn't know that they came in individual packages... that was the only reason that I never liked it quite so much... so much cooking involved.
