Let the Sun Shine!

Bright light streaming through my windows woke me this morning and, for a moment, startled me! It's been so dark in my little corner of the world for so long that I almost didn't recognize the Sun! But once I did, I pushed the shades up, opened a window to see if it had warmed up at all (YES!!!) and began rejoicing!
While I do enjoy a rainy day here and there, sunshine brightens my mood considerably. I'm even thinking of going out for a short walk today, just to see how that goes. I can't remember the last time I took a walk, JUST to take a walk. But I need to begin pushing myself in little ways if I'm ever going to take large steps in my life going forward.

Although it's been beautiful having the sunshine here in Florida, it's already heating up to uncomfortable levels. By the end of next week we'll be up in the upper 90's, which is a rarity for this time of year. Looks like we're going to be in for a very hot, humid and miserable summer!

@CRK109 Although the temperature has been heating up here, the humidity hasn't been as bad yet, so although it is warm, it's not unbearable like it can be (as you described in your August visit).

It is supposed to be near 80 today though at this moment, it looks dull.
It is so nice that the sun is shining there for you Claudia. Yes it will be nice to get out and walk if you can.
I love to walk but do not often feel motivated to do so.
