Can someone help me to connect my django application to database?

Iam new to python and django.Im using the pycharm IDE.I started learning it before two days from a tutorial.Now i want to connect my application to database.I installed sqlite3.But i dont how to connect it to database.Can someone help me with the steps to connect my application to sqlite database?
