Have you tasted the Lingon Berries or Cowberries?

This is a berry that grows in ever green shrubs in the forests on the Northern Hemisphere. The researchers have found out that they are super healthy.. Here the forests are full of them and people eat them as jam or in cakes - and I eat them raw or frozen with yogurt with my breakfast and other food. A long time ago, one of my friends could not digest food well without taking a bit of lingonberries with it.

I've never heard of them. Are they related to cranberries?

That is good. I am sure you can save a lot of money when you can get such super food for free. if I have access to free berries, I will treat it as a fruit, make jams to use on bread, and make tea with it.

I have had those in a jam. I'd love to try them on their own.

I wonder if we'll see them when we visit there later in the year.

Berries on the whole seem to be very healthy - you have Cranberries, raspberries ,blueberries, etc.
