Sitting on a Nest?

Since I knew it was going to rain later in the day, I ended up taking my walk this morning rather than at lunch. The park was somewhat quiet. But, I did happen to see this duck poking his head up from behind the grass. I think there might be a nest in there.

It was pretty muddy where he was. I had no intention of getting closer, especially since I still had to go to work.
