Do you have an experience with Online Scammers?

One of my friend get a call in Hindi. He is not good at Hindi so he give call to me. The caller claimed that he is a banking fellow and calls from the main branch Mumbai. He wants the PIN number of the ATM Card because the card was blocked. I said I will never give him the number and says after enquire the local branch I will take proper action. After enquiry we revealed that it was a fake call. There are more reports on daily on every month about the deceivers. Do you have an experience?

I never received this kind of calls, but of course I would never give my PIN to anyone, not even my Bank.

Yes that is wise. The bank said that they have never approach anybody for PIN

@shshiju It is clearly stated on the letter we receive with the PIN, we must communicate the PIN to no one.

@LadyDuck Yes that is correct. But big country like India all are not aware about banking procedures and their rights.

@shshiju yes I have experienced before the online scammer,but mine is different story.I'm just thankful that I'm aware of scammer.

I have been scammed a few times and it really makes me mad. I have had money stolen out of my bank account twice and out of online sites like PayPal as well. People can be so rotten.

yes , recently there are many cases about these fake calls regarding banks, one of my friends received such call, as she is aware of such incidents she immediately hanged the phone and blocked the number.

Yes, there are plenty of scammers around. Ignoring them is the best strategy.
