Hamilton Broadway Lottery

I really want to see Hamilton on Broadway, but prices are through the roof. Though my desire to see the musical is very high, no way will I lash out over four hundred dollars for a single ticket, plus whatever fees Ticketmaster throws in. And since I want to see it with my husband, that total would double. So, to see Hamilton for two people would cost me over $800 for sure. That is just ridiculous... but what if there was another way to see the show without spending a fortune. Turns out there is. There is a Hamilton lottery. The day of a show you get to enter a lottery for a chance to see that show, and for only $10 a ticket. (Not sure if there are any fees, and if you actually get seats or have to stand the entire time). Entering the lottery does not guarantee that you will win a pair of tickets. But if you are selected as the winner, which you find out very shortly after the lottery ends for that day, you have 60 minutes to purchase your tickets otherwise they are taken away... I entered the lottery today for the first time. I had a feeling that I would win. Unfortunately, I didn't. I will keep on trying though. Maybe one day I will actually win.

I agree no way i am shelling out that kind of cash, i will wait till smaller community theatres are allowed to do the show with there own cast.

I wouldn't pay that much to see something/someone I really like.
