Spring Cleaning

April 28, 2017 5:33pm CST
I recently did some pretty hefty spring cleaning. I legitimately delivered a trunk load of old clothes and items to the local GoodWill. After my closet and drawers were thinned out I realized that I had just been letting unnecessary items accumulate! I began to wonder how much money I could have saved if I had just made a list every time I went shopping, rather than buy everything I saw and liked. Did you have any great realization during your spring cleaning? Did you avoid spring cleaning all together?

I lie spring cleaning, since i can get rid of unnecessary stuff... but i am quite the same before, i sometimes do not think much about buying new clothes, and in the end they just sit in the closet now i think twice and even 3 times before buying clothes

I clean things out somewhat regularly, but there is always more. More!! (Ugh!) We moved a few months ago. My husband is an only child and his mother recently had to move into a nursing home. We've been sorting much of her stuff too. It's all overwhelming but I'm determined to take this opportunity to simplify my life!

My family has been trying to greatly minimize our "stuff" that we own. I have delivered tons of clothes, shoes, ect to the local orphanage. I love the way my house feels when it's decluttered and it feels amazing to be able to give to people who don't have a lot.
