Pawn shops are rips offs!

Pon shops take you for your money for sure they don't even give you half of what your item is worth! Why should these Crooks be in business anyway. People go there cause there hurting for money better off doing business on ebay or facebook gargage sales!

That depends on how you use the pawnshops.
Over here many people use pawnshops as the safe deposit box for safekeeping their jewelries and valuables when they have to travel.
It is much cheaper than renting a safe deposit box in a bank.
As long as they pay a minimum charge (about 1% of the value of their jewelries), the pawnshop will have to keep the items for them.
