Is someone travel to Croatia? / myLot

I'm from Croatia! In past few years Croatia stand for good destination to travel, most of people hear for Dubrovnik, but we have other good destination as well, Zagreb our capital with old part of city and catedrall, Zadar, Split and Dalmatia with old castles and walls made from "Bracki" ( island in Croatia) rocks, White house is also made with that rocks. We have also continental Croatia with many villige like have been made in past. I'm interesting, is someone will be travel to Croatia or is someone been in Croatia, how was impresion? Is someone need some help with planing trip in Croatia this summer, I'm glad to help, Is anybody has any question just ask!

I was in Opatija with my mother in the year1962! Of course, you weren't born then yet. It was the first time I saw the Mediterranean Sea. I remember our summer holidays there with pleasure. We also visited Pula and Postojnska jama.

Opatija is beautifull, my grandma and grandpa in my youth rent rooms for summer, I remember many our guests been from Denmark. These was happy times till '80 .

That cat is one of most beautifull that I seen, she was so calm like a model. I must photograph her!

I haven't been to croatia. I bet you've had an increase in tourism since game of thrones was filmed there? It does look like a very nice country to visit

Yes, a game of thrones filmed here but last Star Wars also! In past many movies filmed in Croatia who was part of Yugoslavia then, one of most famous movies is "Sofie's choice" Meryl Streep won the second oscar with him.First version Captian America filmed in Dubrovnik and Zagreb also, "The Trial" from Orson Welles with Antony Perkins and many others.

I am Bulgarian. I deal with Croatian culture and literature. I have been in Zagreb. Also I have a house in Slovenia - it is near the Croatian-Slovenian border in Krsko. Going to my house I travel through Croatia by bus. Now I am in Sofia - the capital of Bulgaria.
