My experience has shown me that I should keep small change always. Today when I wanted to purchase a pack of cigarettes I gave the shopkeeper a hundred rupee note for which he got no change. Generally, they give us a pack and wait for some customer to come. When he gets some change he will hand over it. But, this man is totally different. He did not give me pack. I was waiting for some customers to come. It was 12.30 in the afternoon. I have to go inside the bank. As there was no current and the systems were down they asked me to come after half an hour. So I was forced to wait. Some customers came and did some purchase. But they were not having change. I searched in my pocket for at least a ten rupee coin. There was no change at all. All I got was 2 five hundred rupees and 8 hundred rupee notes. In the meanwhile, the power came and instead of waiting outside in the hot weather I went inside and sat comfortably. The system was rectified and my work was done in 10 minutes. Now, the temptation to purchase a packet of cigarettes faded away totally. I started my bike and the shopkeeper was shouting at me that he got a change which I could not hear.
