I called Claudia a while ago to see about the arrangements I had to make for the children. I placed Sofía in my bed and I fixed a sort of bed for Vicente in the living room. I did not want to have any of the children in the second floor as I am terribly scared of earthquakes and we have had several big ones in this last month. But Carolina (my eldest granddaughter) was there and picked up the phone. She told me that they would come to pick up the kids in around 20 minutes. So is was only shoes off and some of my sweaters. I I am here mylotting as I don´t have a bed.

No. My house is very safe and earthquake proof. But I´m scared of quakes and I could not have small children sleep in another floor.

@Courtlynn Yes. My husband and I built the house and I would not sleep in the second floor. We did, for a couple off months, when my eldest daughter ended her marriage and we were afraid to have her young children sleep upstairs.

Luckily I don't have to worry about earthquakes here. When one hits one day we will get a huge shock.

Best to be in a place where we can go out easily in case of earthquakes It must be nice for your kids to have their kids take care of
