Does "13 reasons why" promotes Suicide to Teens? / myLot

I just found out that my teens are watching this show "13 reasons why" and I googled it and it's about teen suicide. I'm terrified that it might be promoting suicide to teens. are you watching this show? does it promote suicide? I read here that Mental health experts have concerns about the show and are encouraging parents to be on alert about the series and that suicide has increased for some groups since the show.
