Good afternoon and just finished up here. This morning we head out to the flea market.Many dealers did not show for the weather was a bit off.Cloudy and cool. It was nice for us to get out and see sone of our friends there. With Mother's Day coming up and missing my mom and my girls who are far away with their lives.But doing real well. The lilac are starting to bloom and waiting till they are full so that I can show you soon.Sorry this post not of any interest.Just wanted to keep in touch. Have a good afternoon.Enjoy one another. the photo is one of my crazy sketches

I used to go to Scott`s antique trade day the first weekend of every month, id that for years. I was a driver back then, I got paid $100 for a couple hours driving, and the few hours we were there I walked and looked, made friends with the dealers and hung out. I have some nice antique jewelry, not real but nice.

I spent my morning digging up weeds, so I'm thinking that your day is already better than mine. Is there anything more relaxing that a few lilacs in full bloom! Sounds like a nice way to spend a Sunday morning!!

I didn't realize that Mother's Day was next weekend already. I love when the lilacs are in bloom, their beautiful sweet scent can be noticed for quite a distance from the bush, which is good if you're like me and don't have one!

My husband and I did indeed have a short walk in the park. Short, because there was a light drizzle. The lilac bushes here are already in full bloom. The smell is wonderful.

@jstory07 yes,there was not too many dealers today.It was cold and raw along with the wind. Many have packed up and left

It's been a long time since I've been to a flea market. It's a great way to pass the time. You will always miss your mom, but holidays like Mother's Day does make it harder.
