@celticeagle Yea me too, as I think it reaslly turned out good, better than I thought it would. I usually don't take very good pictures either, as most of them are awful, and I end up deleteing them. I took this one iwht my phone, and leaving it there as well.

@LadyDuck That is perfectly fine, as there are lots of people that won't post a photo of themselves. I just choose to, so people know who they are talking to, as I am not afraid to let people know what i look like. I don't criticize those though that don't want to post a pic of themselves, whatever the reqasons might be. I just feel better showing myself, although it hasn't always been that way, azs I have been shy, but not as much now, as I used to be.

Yea so do I. It is a keeper that is for sure. I wish i had tken it a long time ago.

I got tired of looking at the other o e, as that was so drab and this pic is colorful. I will keep it for awhile and I might not change it.

I think so too. I had taken it not to long ago, and used it for my Facebook pic, so I thought I might a well use it in here too, where lots of others would see it. It is one, that I am glad I took.

i certainly do agree, as it turned out better than I thought it would. I have always had a hard time taking good pictures of myslef, but I got the hang of it now.

@writerjo It does, and the fact that I have an iphone, the camera on it is much better than any other camera. I have a digital camera, but the one on the iphone to me seems better.

Thank you for the compliment. I do have two children, and six grandchildren, and yet I only see two of the grandkids, as they live here in Oregon, and the other 4 live in Iowa and Missourit. It is hard not seeing the grandkids that are so far away, that is for sure. I do talk to my daughter pretty much everyday. I am closer to the ones that live here in Oregon than I am the other 4, but I still love them, and I hope that I will be able to visit them in the near furture.

@ridingbet It is the same here, and thank you and the same to you. My son always takes me out to eat on Mothers Day, but on Sunday, he and the family will be gone for rest and relaxation, so he and the family took me out on Tuesday night. I love the fact that he always thinks about me, no matter what. I told him to go and relax, as they do deserve to get away once in awhile, as their lives don't revolve around me.

@rosekiss mother's day here in my country will be on Sunday. allow me to greet you an advance happy mother's day, my friend.

I have already as it is up on Facebook too, as well as twitter I think. I won't be changing it for a long while, if ever.

I was dressed up in my church clothes as I had just come home from church one weekend, and I decied to take the picture, and I am happy with the way it turned out.

thank you so much for sayingg so. I very seldom ever take a good picture, but this time, it turned out great.. It is one tht I am happy I took, and I am definitely going to keep it.

@ShifaLk I have never been al that photogenic, except when I was a child. I think it is the way it is with a lot of people though, that they are to uncomfortable in fromt of a camera. i am not uncomfortable, it is just that I can't seem to get my expression the way I want to, but this one is the best one so far.
