Before I begin the review... *Update About Me: No other job prospects yet, and I am down to one day for work next week. I continue to do my little money earners while I wait for other work to fall into my lap. Between all of that, I read, and this is where the review pops in: Ashburn House was a short (several hours) read and was a fascinating little book. Adrienne finds herself the heiress to a large manor home on the outskirts of a rural community. She was bequeathed the property by a great aunt that her mother insists never existed. She is in dire straits, however, and decides to relocate across the state with only one suitcase and a cat carrier. Strange things start to happen, trivial at first but quickly accelerating to horrific magnitudes. What is going on with her new home and she will survive the malice that is attached the property? Here'a an amazon link, as always, for anyone who is interested.

I have resorted to spending my time between applying to places, checking back in on places, and reading. With earning online mixed in. I might be able to get a few hours a week as a hostess at a local restaurant though so that will be good.

Hope you have a good store of good books to read while you wait for a job opportunity.

I use the kindle, and have kindle unlimited so I will never run out of books to read. In the mean time, between working on applications, I do my online earning things.

Hope you get a better job or more hours soon

I think it is more likely that I will get a better job before I get more hours. Right now, I have no intention of quitting my current job but only taking up a secondary job to fill in the monetary gaps.

Not Giving Up (on the job hunt). I have really started to contemplate calling in to where I work now.. the only reason I don't is because I am not that type of person.. usually. I have called in and not been sick before, but it's very very rare that I do that.
