Garbage management

We manage our own garbage and use it to advantage. The wet garbage is converted to compost for which we have compost pits.
The solid garbage such as broken glass, plastic and other rubble is used as filler material for foundations in the garden. So far we have had two such fundations. One is where we have installed our waterfall where the reservoir is built on a foundation where it is filled with solid garbage.
And the other is this love seat.

Not enough room here for all of that.
I do sort out the garbage though and put it all in the right places.
I try and really try to avoid plastic but they will not give up in using it.
What a fantastic idea about the love seat.
I would love to have a Fountain and a kind of dedication to Kwan Yin that is my wish.

Even though these lot here don´t want to put that kind of thing in the Garden I will put it somewhere else just exactly where I have not thought of yet.

In the United States we have garbage men come and get our garbage once a week. My hubby and I do compost our wet or food type garbage and we recycle the newspapers, tin cans, and glass.

We have that system here as well. But as I have said in my post I use it to advantage althou gh these days I do hand over the sold garbage to guys that come to collect it.

A boy comes in our home to collect the garbage. We have to pay money for him on monthly basis. He supposed to collect the garbage every day basis but at times he disappeared and will come after many days. On other days also he comes only alternative days.

We have that now and I was instrumental to some extent. There is a lady who has been given a jeep and a couple of workers by the government. They come around every day. I keep my wet garbage and give away plastic and such solid garbage once in a way.

I think that is wonderful! I wish we had recycle here, but I live in an apartment so my only choice is the dumpster.
